These are more of the services offered by Blaina Medical Practice.

Minor Accidents

Minor cuts and bruises ONLY can be dealt with at the surgery. Patients with major injuries are advised to attend Nevill Hall Hospital, Accident & Emergency.

Minor Surgery

We perform a variety of minor surgical procedures and also offer injections.

Non NHS Examinations

Medical examinations for special purposes e.g. drivers, pre-employment medicals, insurance medicals, etc. can be arranged by appointment. A fee, as recommended by the British Medical Association, may be payable for these examinations; please speak to the Practice Secretary for more details.

Travel Vaccinations

Advice and holiday vaccinations are available from the practice nurse, with no charge for these vaccinations.

Influenza & Pneumonia Vaccinations

These are available in October every year and are particularly important to the over 65's and those with chest or heart conditions, diabetes or on specialised medical treatments.
